通譯은 크게 3가지 方法이 있다.

●同時通訳(동시통역)

同時通譯은 通譯士(통역사)가 부스 내에서 演士(연사)의 演說(연설)을 헤드폰으로 聽取後(청취후) 이를 同時的(동시적)으로 聽衆(청중)에게 受信機(수신기)로 通譯(통역)하여 傳達(전달)하는 方式(방식)
同時通訳は話者が話したら、通訳者が休み無く直ちに通訳する方式。
In the ideal setting for oral language, the interpreter sits in a sound-proof booth and speaks into a microphone, while clearly seeing and hearing the source-language speaker via earphones. The simultaneous interpretation is rendered to the target-language listeners via their earphones.

●順次通驛(순차통역)
逐次(ちくじ)通訳

順次通譯(순차통역)이란 話者(화자)와 通譯士(통역사)가 交代(교대)로 말하며 順序(순서)대로 通譯하는 通譯方式이다.
話者の話を数十秒～数分ごとに区切って、順次通訳していく方式
In consecutive interpreting (CI), the interpreter starts to interpret after the speaker pauses

順次通譯(순차통역)의 短點은 通譯時間이 길어짐에 따라 會議가 길어진다
同時通訳と比べてほぼ2倍の時間がかかってしまう。
much more time (perhaps double) is needed

順次通譯(순차통역)의 長點은 보다 正確하게 傳達할 수 있다.
訳の正確性が高まる。
This affords a truer, more accurate, and more accessible interpretation than where short CI or simultaneous interpretation is used.

●위스퍼링 通譯(통역)
ウィスパリン(グ)通訳
whispered interpreting

슈쇼타지(Chuchotage)라고도 한다. 事實上 裝備(장비) 없는 同時通譯(동시통역)으로, 通譯이 필요한 사람 옆에서 속삭여서 通譯을 해주는 것이다.
方式的には同時通訳と同一であるが、通訳者はブース内ではなく、通訳を必要とする人間の近くに位置して聞き手にささやく程度の声で通訳をしていく。
The interpreter's voice is kept at a low volume. To do this, the interpreter and the person requiring interpretation must sit or stand in close proximity to one another.
